1N5822 Schottky Rectifier Diode

Schottky diodes have low forward voltage drop and fast switching speeds compared with a rectifier diode. This makes the diode to be popularly used in reverse polarity protection circuit and other time constraint switching circuits. The downside of the diode is that it has low reverse breakdown voltage.
