This 3S 40A Li-ion Battery Protection Board BMS is designed to protect lithium-ion batteries that have a normal voltage of 3.7V and a fully charged voltage of 4.2V. The Li-ion Battery Protection Board is basically a protection IC for 3-serial-cell lithium-ion/ lithium polymer rechargeable batteries. It protects them from overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, and Short circuit by using the SEL pin for switching.

Applications:
The 3S 40A Li-ion Battery Protection Board is equipped with 10 low internal resistance MOSFETS and provides a continuous discharge current of 40A and an equalizing current of 100mA. As a result, it can be used with electric drills, sprayers, LED lights, and low-power inverters (400W).
