74HC253 Dual 4-Bit Multiplexer IC (Philips) - SOIC-16 SMD Package

The 74HC253 is high-speed Si-gate CMOS devices that are pin-compatible with low-power Schottky TTL (LSTTL). These devices comply with JEDEC standard no. 7A.

The 74HC253 feature two identical 4-input multiplexers with 3-state outputs, allowing the selection of two bits from four sources using common data select inputs (S0, S1). When the individual output enable inputs (1OE, 2OE) are HIGH, the outputs enter a high-impedance OFF-state. The 74HC/HCT253 functions as a 2-pole, 4-position switch, with the switch position determined by the logic levels applied to S0 and S1.
