74LS06 - Hex Inverter/Buffer IC

The 74LS06 is a Hex Inverter (NOT gate) IC. That is, the IC contains six NOT gates, each with one input and one output pin. Each of the six NOT gates is powered by a common rail but can operate independently to perform logic INVERT function or Boolean Y = á¾?/strong> in positive logic. The recommended operating voltage for this IC is from 4.75V to 5.5V with a maximum operating voltage up to 7V. The minimum high level input voltage is 2V and the maximum low level input voltage is 0.8V.
