LM7809 - 9V Positive Voltage Regulator (To-220)

LM7809 is a three terminal positive voltage regulator to provide +9V regulated power supply. The LM7809 voltage regulator IC is available in TO-220 package. The 7809 IC, available in TO-220 package, have 3 pins, Pin 1 is a positive input, Pin 3 is a positive output and pin 2 is common ground between both input and output voltage.

Product Description

To use it as a Voltage Regulator, connect your Input Supply to Input Terminal and Ground Terminal and take the regulated output from Output Terminal and Ground Terminal. Make sure ground terminals of both Input and Output supplies are same. You can also connect ceramic capacitors across input and output supplies to make the system more stable and reliable.
