LM7815 is a monolithic 3-terminal positive voltage regulator includes internal current-limiting, thermal shutdown and safe-area compensation. It can deliver 1.0A output current. It is intended as fixed voltage regulators in a wide range of applications including local regulation for elimination of noise and distribution problems associated with single-point regulation.

Product Description

To use it as a Voltage Regulator, connect your Input Supply to Input Terminal and Ground Terminal and take the regulated output from Output Terminal and Ground Terminal. Make sure ground terminals of both Input and Output supplies are same. You can also connect ceramic capacitors across input and output supplies to make the system more stable and reliable.
